Story N Motion
“Story N Motion” is an after school program designed to introduce students to
Bharatanatyam while focusing on the ability to effectively communicate emotions and
stories to the audience through appropriate hand gestures and facial expressions.
Stories, myths and legends from around the world are told in great detail and enacted
using hand gestures and movements from Bharatanatyam.
This after school program has been successful in attracting students of various age
groups and cultures in local area Portland schools.
